Levoi Consulting was contracted to The Australian Ballet to manage the implementation and customisation of Vernon Collection Management System for the ballet's costume, prop and scenery collections. Laura worked intensively on this project in 2014 -15 and continues to provide consultancy services. 

Laura made a significant contribution to our collections program; it is largely due to her expertise and knowledge that we have been able to build our collections database with high quality data relating to our costume collection. The processes that Laura developed in consultation with the Project Manager continue to be followed and refined. In particular Laura was able to set up processes to ensure data integrity is maintained. Laura shared her knowledge with team members, both through informal training, and through documenting her processes. I would recommend Levoi Consulting to other heritage and arts organisations who are seeking to implement or make significant changes to their collection management system.

Laura also runs open training sessions on both Vernon CMS and eHive.

Using the John Forbes Collection of Sporting Memorabilia, Levoi Consulting has designed, curated and produced the new Rochester Sports Museum, working closely with volunteers from the Lions Club of Rochester. The new tourist attraction includes museum standard displays showcasing John Forbes collection as well as local sporting content, plus a theatrette with an oral history from John Forbes.

Laura was able to bring big city ideas, ones we thought unachievable to our small country town and museum.  Laura used her networking skills to obtain equipment that our volunteers would not have been able to source.  Laura’s patience and communication skills were invaluable, as many of our items had sentimental meaning to the owners.  The end result was a high end museum only thought to exist in large cities.  Laura was a pleasure to work with and we are extremely pleased with the end result.

Levoi Consulting have been providing collection management services to Castlemaine Art Museum since 2016. During a period of revival at CAM, Laura has ensured the collection has been managed and cared for.

Since 2018 Laura has provided training and support to The Johnston Collection team in collection data management and implementation of Vernon Collection Management System. Laura is generous with sharing her in-depth knowledge of Vernon CMS, as well as her general collection management and museum experience, which is especially important in a small-scale, largely volunteer-based museum. Her assistance with the development of the Vernon browser module has been integral to our success in getting The Johnston Collection online and into the world.
